SMTMD MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Southern Maryland Traditional Music and Dance (SMTMD) welcomes new members whether spectator, performer, or volunteer. Your membership will help preserve and promote traditional folk music and dance in the Southern Maryland area. Our membership is open for all who share this goal.

Members receive the newsletter, may attend Board Meetings, and adults may vote at the annual meeting of the membership. Also, as a member, you will receive discounts to concerts, dances at participating local businesses.

Southern Maryland Traditional Music and Dance (SMTMD) is a not-for-profit [501(C)(3)] civic organization formed to preserve and promote the appreciation and performance of traditional and contemporary folk music and dance in American culture. Through sponsorship of concerts, dances, and activities, SMTMD enriches folk culture in the Southern Maryland region.
